Jesse Lee Church & Ridgefield Hardware are working together to help with Hurricane Harvey relief

So, so many in Ridgefield have been affected by the news out of Texas from Hurricane Harvey and are working in ways to help those in need... Ridgefield Hardware and Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church are collaborating to create Emergency Flood Buckets for flood victims.

Here is more information from Jesse Lee UMC about the Emergency Flood Buckets:

Ridgefield Hardware and Jesse Lee Church have teamed up to help out flood victims. Each 5-gallon bucket will contain laundry detergent, dish soap, household cleaner, air freshener, insect repellent, cleaning wipes, sponges, scouring pads, clothespins, clothesline, trash bags, dust masks, rubber gloves, work gloves, and a scrub brush.

Ridgefield Hardware is providing these items at cost. The buckets will be assembled by the Jesse Lee Youth Group and members of the community and will be distributed through the United Methodist Committee on Relief. We will accept sponsors through Friday, September 22, and plan to have them assembled and ready to ship by Saturday, September 30.
