Tokens for a Cause
Ridgefield orthodontist Dr. Blaine Langberg challenged his patients to donate to a good cause, and they rose to the occasion.
Patients at Dr. Langberg's office earn tokens each time they come to the office. The tokens can be redeemed for prizes, ranging from yo-yo's and frisbees to larger prizes like Deborah Ann's gift cards, or movie tickets to the Prospector Theater.
During the months of November and December, Dr. Langberg said if patients filled up a jar with their tokens instead, he would donate $500 to Ridgefield Social Services. The jar filled up quickly, and Dr. Langberg recently met with town Social Services Director Tony Phillips, to present him with the donation.
