An evening of hilarity with Fred Newman The Michael Chekov Theatre Festival will hold its annual fundraiser performance and reception Saturday, March 31st from 7:00 to 9:30 PM at the historic Keeler Tavern Garden House, 132 Main Street Ridgefield, CT.

Participants will be treated to a performance by Fred Newman. Newman a regular performer on NPR’s “A Prairie Home Companion” many credits include a puppeteer for Jim Henson to acclaimed author of “Mouth Sounds.” As a master sound effects artist, he will entertain and elicit participation from those fortunate attendees. The evening of hors-d'oeuvres, wine, vodka bar, and desserts will be capped off by a silent auction.

Tickets for the event can be purchased for $50 at www.chekhovfestival.com The non-profit organization, Chekhov International Theatre Festival was created to honor Michael Chekov a dramatic innovator and to bring live, professional theatre to Ridgefield CT, Chekhov's adopted home.
