Nuts About The Nutcracker raises $24,000 for SPHERE

EG School of Dance has donated the proceeds from their “Nuts about the Nutcracker” ballet to Ridgefield nonprofit, SPHERE.

The snowy performance was hosted on Dec. 17, 2017 at Ridgefield High School, featuring dancers from grades kindergarten through 12th and collected $24,000 for the donation. Jean Cobelli Director of Dance at EG studios, choreographed and directed the “Nutcracker” ballet spinoff and celebrated the 16th annual performance with a cast of 150 dancers. 

SPHERE has been serving adults with disabilities in the Ridgefield area since its founding in 1987. They aim to enrich and enhance the lives of their members with a focus on education, recreation and the arts.
