SRMS fundraiser at 850 supports Ann's Place and honors school guest author

Students at Scotts Ridge Middle School (SRMS) are working with school librarians to host a fundraiser in support of Ann's Place and in honor of SRMS's guest author this year, Jordan Sonnenblick. "His books are written to help kids going through a tough time, and his most well known, Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie and After Ever After are about being the sibling of a pediatric cancer patient and a survivor of cancer," explains SRMS student, Ava Anderson.

The fundraiser will take place at 850 Degrees Wood Fired Pizza on Monday, March 26th, from 5-10 pm. 850 will donate 10% of all proceeds that night to SRMS.

"We will use the funds raised to purchase a brick at Ann's Place inscribed in Jordan Sonnenblick's honor," says Anderson.

The school's goal is to reach $325 so they are able to purchase a 4" by 8" brick.

"We will also be selling raffle tickets during the event for a 50/50 raffle," says Anderson.

Dine in or take out from 850 Wood Fired on Monday and support these amazing students!
