Ancona's to honor those who served & sacrificed by supporting Ridgefield American Legion this Saturday

Ancona’s Event to Honor Those Who Served & Sacrificed

Memorial Day is the official start of summer, but it also marks a solemn and significant occasion.

This Saturday, May 26 prepare for your weekend festivities while honoring those who served. Ancona’s Wines & Liquors will donate 10% of your purchase to the Ridgefield American Legion. Ancona's is open from9am to8pm. Pictured here with Mitch Ancona is Commander George Besse of Ridgefield American Legion Post 78.

The Legion organizes the annual Ridgefield Memorial Day Parade, in addition to other events and functions that honor our veterans.

A special selection of “all American” wines and beers will be featured at the store, and Ludo will be mixing up a commemorative cocktail for tasting.

Mitch Ancona’s business method and philosophy includes giving back to the community he serves.  Recipients of past donations include the RVNA and Ridgefield Library. A Father’s Day donation event will be held on June 16, with proceeds going to ROAR.

The Ancona family has a long and distinguished history of serving in the U.S. military. The location of the family’s first stores in Branchville was also the site of the town parade.

Ancona’s Wines & Liquors is located at 17b Governor Street, in the heart of downtown Ridgefield. Visit Ancona's online here.
