Ridgefield Farmers Market to Benefit Brooke Blake on August 26

The 2nd Annual Farmers Market to benefit Brooke Blake, a young Ridgefield student battling a rare form of brain cancer, will take place on Sunday, August 26 from 12:00 - 4:00 in front of Bissell Pharmacy located at 23 Governor Street in Ridgefield.

Donations of local, farm picked produce, flowers and fresh made baked goods are needed.  If you have ever worried about what to do with all that zucchini and all those tomatoes in August, here is your chance to donate them to a wonderful cause.  Homemade pickles, salsa and pesto are also welcome as well as fresh cut flowers or fruit.  If baking is your specialty, please consider baking a pie, cake or cookies.  All proceeds from the market will go to help fund Brooke's medical care.  For more information on Brooke's story, please visit https://www.gofundme.com/believe-in-Brooke

Donations may be dropped off on Sat. Aug. 25 @ 44 Mulberry Street from 10:00 - 5:00. For more information about the Farmers Market, please email farmforbrooke@gmail.com or call/text 203-733-5546.
