Ridgefield Food Pantry Shelves Bare, Local Biz Collecting Donations This Weekend!

Our town food pantry is in dire need of donations! Thanks to Ridgefield Running Company (RRC) and sister business, Everywear on Main for collecting donations for our Food Pantry this weekend!

Drop off your food donations at Everywear on Main (423 Main Street) or RRC (88 Danbury Road) this weekend and store owner, Megan Searfoss will deliver your donations to Ridgefield Social Services for you on Monday. "Let’s feel good together and stock the pantry!" says RRC owner, Megan Searfoss.

Below is a list of items need. Ridgefield Social Services, who runs our town pantry, also welcomes donations of cash and gift card.

PLEASE - NO BAGGED RICE (we do take rice/pasta mixes but not bags of rice)

healthy snacks (think children's lunches)
tuna
canned chicken
crackers
Peanut butter
Jelly
