Ridgefield A Better Chance: A Taste of the Caribbean BBQ
Bring family and friends for food, fun and music... Island style! Latin dance demonstrations, salsa lessons, face painting, tropical treats, photo booth, raffles and more! All ages are welcome in this family-friendly event on Sunday, October 14 from 3-7pm at the Silver Spring Country Club hosted by Ridgefield A Better Chance (RABC). A Portion of the ticket is tax-deductible. Ridgefield A Better Chance (RABC) is a 501(c)3 organization that offers talented and motivated young minority students from disadvantaged communities an opportunity to attain a meaningful high school in preparation for college. Ridgefield hosts 8 exceptional young women in one of the 26 public schools programs operating in conjunction with 164 private schools that are part of the National A Better Chance program. RABC receives no funding from the national organization or the government. It is solely reliant on the support of the community and friends.
