Ridgefield Thrift Shop announced on Facebook that one of their loyal customers came into the store yesterday with a bag of donations. "They told us about the Lent Challenge," the Thrift Shop said.
Coined 40 Bags In 40 Days (the number of days in Lent), the challenge charges you with decluttering and donating that which you no longer want or need.
"If you are participating in the 40 Bags in 40 Days challenge, we hope you will consider donating your goods to our shop. We've been busy, and our shelves are looking a little more sparse than usual," says the Thrift Shop.
The Thrift Shop accepts clothing (preferably summer/spring apparel), home goods, small furniture, lamps, sporting equipment and books that are in good condition.
Donations are accepted Monday-Friday 12-4, and Saturdays 10-4.
