On Friday, June 7, 2019, members of the Ridgefield Police Department will carry the torch for CT Special Olympics. This year's Torch Run will kick off at 9:00 am. We will run on Prospect St., East Ridge, Market St., Main St., Catoonah St., and Gilbert St.
Our Ridgefield Special Olympians and the police department will be joined by members of the Wilton and Redding Police Departments, Bridgeport Correctional Center, Ridgefield Bicycle Company, and East Ridge Middle School teachers.
The Torch Run for the Special Olympics covers over 500 miles and goes through 100 towns.
