Help underprivileged kids play America’s favorite pastime by participating in equipment drive at The Ridgefield Playhouse during Bernie Williams concert this Friday, July 12 and during the Charity Softball Game on July 13.
Will Carbonari, a rising senior at Ridgefield High School, and an avid baseball fan and former Little Leaguer, is collecting used baseball and softball equipment including bats, gloves, helmets, baseballs, catcher’s gear and cleats for Pitch In For Baseball, a nonprofit organization that distributes the gear to children in this country and all over the world. Please bring items to The Ridgefield Playhouse this Friday, July 12 from 5 to 8pm or during the Charity Softball Game on July 13 beginning at 1pm.
Pitch In For Baseball provides new and gently used baseball and softball equipment to boys and girls in more than 450 communities in the United States and over 80 countries around the world who want to play ball but lack the equipment to do so.
