The Brains Behind Branchville Charity Lawn Bocce: RVNAhealth Team Hot Shots Thanks Mitch Ancona!

In September, representatives from six local charities including The Women's Center, Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department, Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield, Ridgefield Library, Wilton Library, and RVNAhealth gathered on the site of the Branchville bocce courts located at 59 Willridge Road in Ridgefield and battled it out for nearly eight hours for the esteemed title of Branchville Champion Bocce Champion.

In the end, Ridgefield Library took down world record holders (Ridgefield 8) and earned the 2019 title while RVNAhealth was deemed most spirited.

As a “thank you” to Branchville Charity Lawn Bocce Tournament founder and overall charity champion, Mitch Ancona, owner of Ancona’s Wines & Liquors, Theresa Santoro, captain of RVNAhealth team “Hot Shots” and CEO of RVNAhealth, presented Ancona with a bocce tournament gift for all - a “Score Tower”. This handy scoreboard can be placed in the ground and displays the game score. Added bonus, it holds the beverage of your choice!

We can’t wait until next year! Thank you, Mitch and all who let the ball roll in the name of worthy charities!
