Nature's Temptations Answers the Call, Matches Donations for Ridgefield Mom in Need

Nature's Temptations Joins Ridgefield in Supporting Mom in Need

After learning about a Ridgefield mom in need from the Jesse Lee Day School community, on Wednesday evening, November 6, we shared her plight with the community and listed several ways locals could help. The Ridgefield CT Facebook Page also shared her story.

"To help with the daily grind of raising a family, we are seeking gift cards to Nature's Temptations and cash donations so that she can pick up groceries and pantry staples, as well as meals that are easy to prepare when she is not feeling well or is worn down from treatment," Jesse Lee friends explained.

Wow. In less than 48 hours, $1,618.50 in donations were made and Nature's Temptations is generously matching this amount bringing the total to $3,237.00.  "We will continue to match all donations for as long as the contributions come in," says Nature's Temptation owner, Jeff Konchalski.

Thank you to Ridgefield, to Jeff and your amazing team at Nature's Temptations! We have a special community.

The community can also help by purchasing gift cards (e.g., Uber, Visa, MasterCard) or cash to help cover the cost of transportation to/from treatment and follow up appointments, roughly $175 for a one-way Uber ride to Manhattan. All donations - no amount is too small - can be dropped off in the Jesse Lee Day School office at 207 Main Street in Ridgefield or at Coldwell Banker 398 Main Street in downtown Ridgefield.
