RVNAhealth Food Pantry Running Low, Consider Donating!

RVNAhealth Food Pantry Running Low

RVNAhealth is currently in need of donations for our Food Pantry. The Pantry is used to support home-bound patients who are unable to get to the store on their own. RVNAhealth clinicians and aides deliver the food and other items when they visit their patients. To support healing and recovery, we appreciate donations of wholesome, healthy food as well as household and personal care items.

Suggested food donations include: whole grain products such as whole wheat bread, brown rice, pasta, oatmeal, cereal, low sodium crackers, nut butters or whole nuts, dried fruit, nutritional supplement drinks or protein bars, canned chicken or tuna, low-sodium canned products such as soups, beans, vegetables, tomato sauce; shelf-stable drinks such as V8 juices, Horizon milk boxes, almond milk, coconut milk, 100% fruit juices; individual snacks (fruit cups, pudding, pretzels, etc.).

Suggested household items include: liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, body wash, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, body lotion, zip lock bags (all sizes), garbage bags, aluminum foil, paper plates, napkins, tissues. Smaller sizes are appreciated as large containers can be difficult for patients to manage.

Donations may be brought to RVNAhealth at 27 Governor Street, Ridgefield from Monday – Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. For a complete list of items needed, please visit: rvnahealth.org/support-us/food-pantry/.

Thank you for any donations you may offer!
