Last week, Ridgefield Thrift Shop representative Jane Troy presents a grant to Commander George Besse of the American Legion Post 78. The Thrift Shop's annual donation to the American Legion Post 78 helps defray the cost of Ridgefield's Memorial Day Parade.
Extremely thankful for this generous grant, Commander Besse says, "The Thrift Shop has donated funds for the parade for many years. I’ve been Commander for ten years and I know they had donated many years before I took charge. The Post is very appreciative of their continued support."
"We hope to see everyone at the parade," Besse adds.
