Inaugural holiday gift-giving event offers everyone an opportunity to help local families in need and takes place NOW until December 18, 2020. Gifts will be distributed to families by December 23.
The Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield identified Club families who desperately need support this holiday season. “Now more than ever, our community needs help buying toys and essential clothing items for growing children,” said Mike Flynn, CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Ridgefield. “We provide youth development opportunities and programs to more than 3000 children annually (grades 1- 12), in the greater Ridgefield community. The Club is a home away from home and a place for young people to find their passions and develop into responsible, productive and caring citizens.”
This inaugural holiday gift-giving event offers everyone an opportunity to help families in need. “Due to safety concerns, the Ridgefield Fire Department had to limit the scope of our annual Fire Truck Santa event. Sadly, that means fewer funds we’ll be able to put back into the community this year,” said Captain Tony Cerulli. “We created this virtual gift-giving event to complement our holiday fundraising efforts - now everyone can participate from the safety of their own homes.”
