The Ridgefield Historical Society is launching its annual membership campaign this week, with letters going out to current and former members, as well as others who’ve shown an interest in Ridgefield history. (If you prefer to join or renew online, please visit our secure site here.

The Historical Society is celebrating its 20th anniversary and inviting all townspeople to join in the year of festivities being planned.

The kick-off will be on Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Scott House, headquarters for the society and the place where precious documents and other materials are stored to keep Ridgefield history alive.

Membership in the Ridgefield Historical Society includes:

  • Minimum 10% discount on gift shop items, genealogy research services, historic plaques, and most ticketed programs.
  • Priority registration and early access to ticket sales.
  • Invitation to exclusive members-only events.
  • And a token of our thanks!

Society president Tracy Seem writes, “We rely on our members to partner with us in our efforts to foster public knowledge of Ridgefield’s heritage with programming that sheds light on what we have learned from the past, how it relates to the present, and how it shapes and inspires our collective future.”
