For the past several years, Mitch Ancona, the owner of Ancona's Wines & Liquors, has auctioned off a few of his shop's prized possessions to raise funds for a local charity.
This year, Mitch has chosen SPHERE to benefit from this annual auction. SPHERE helps adults with disabilities achieve their dreams by providing them enriching opportunities and experiences combined with strong community connections and collaborations.
Here's how it works work.
The items will have an "original price" and a "current bid" (This will show as "SALE PRICE").
The "original price" represents what Ancona's Wines will charge you.
The difference between the "original price" and the "winning bid" will go to SPHERE.
Mitch explains, "You will pay the store portion in person when you pick up your bottle(s) at our Branchville location. You will pay the donation portion via CC on the charity's website."
Proof of donation via a confirmation email forwarded to Mitch will be needed prior to picking up your bottle(s).
"All bids will be made via email directly to me mitch_ancona@anconaswine.com. I will confirm via email that I have received your bid. I will update the "current bid" price online as they come in."
Bid increments will be set for each item. You can bid as often as you'd like.

Bidding timing will be based on email timestamp. Mitch will email the winning bidders on December 22nd.
