Our local Pilates Barre will have a special fundraiser Pilates Tower class this Saturday at 10:45am with a brief intro on the benefits of Pilates for bone health and core stability. Join the class for a minimum donation of $25 for The Center for Empowerment and Education (formerly the Women's Center of Greater Danbury). Also, local photographer extraordinaire Jennie Carr has donated a framed photo of a beautiful rose, to be raffled off at the class. No need to be present to win! To purchase a $10 raffle ticket, email glori.norwitt@gmail.com
All monies raised benefit the no-cost confidential services at The Center for Empowerment and Education, a nonprofit which serves everyone 24 hours a day with prevention, crisis intervention, and support services with regard to domestic violence, sexual assault, and other major life transitions.
