Whip Salon Donates $1,000 toward Breast Cancer Research For Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Whip Salon selected Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation as the recipient of the "Hair Raiser" held across all salon locations on October 1st. A "Hair Raiser" is a unique fundraising event conceptualized by Whip Salon where a portion of the service sales are donated to a particular nonprofit organization.

"We chose Miles of Hope because it is near and dear to one of our staff members, Tonjia Minotti, who is a breast cancer survivor," said Amy Pal, founder of Whip Salon. "Tonjia introduced this organization to us, which was there for her during her fight against breast cancer. We are honored to be helping to make a difference for this important organization and cause."

Whip Salon is open 7 days a week and is full service, modern salon with four locations in Connecticut and one in South Carolina.
