William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s Ridgefield Brokerage Hosts Inaugural Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Proceeds from the “Celebrity Bartender” event will benefit Connecticut Breast Health Initiative

William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty is kicking off a unique new event in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The brokerage’s “Inaugural Celebrity Bartender Fundraiser” will be held on Wednesday, October 11 from 5 to 7 pm at Brasserie Saint Germain, 470 Main Street, Ridgefield, Conn.

The event, which will feature bespoke pink cocktails, a raffle and an honor board, is a fundraiser for The Connecticut Breast Health Initiative(CT BHI), which is celebrating its 20^th anniversary this year. The nonprofit’s mission is to make a significant impact in the quest to find a cure for breast cancer by providing grants to support education and research. One hundred percent of funds raised by CT BHI stay in Connecticut — the only program of its kind in the state. To date, CT BHI has awarded $4.3 million in 107 grants to fund important breast cancer research and education projects in Connecticut.

The lineup of celebrity bartenders includes renowned makeup artist Amanda Gabbard and her husband, singer/actor Michael McGuirk, as well as William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty agents Laura Freed Ancona and Jay Contessa.
