Ridgefield Rotary Invites Residents to Fly the Colors, Proceeds Support Area Veterans

The Ridgefield Rotary Club invites Ridgefield residents to be part of their Fly the Colors program. The Rotary Club displays its flags in early May, before Memorial Day, and takes them down after Veterans Day.

Fly The Colors continues to grow with close to 500 Ridgefielders participating in 2019. If you would like to participate and show your American pride (while helping our veterans) click HERE.

Proceeds from Fly the Colors will be used to benefit area veterans and their families. In 2019 the Rotary awarded $18,000 to the EVB (Empower Veterans Program) program.

The Rotary will purchase, display, pick up, store and maintain the flags. The flags will remain the property of the Ridgefield Rotary Club.

The flag program is an annual, subscription-based service. The first-year cost is $50 and it's $25 a year after. The proceeds benefit the veterans and their immediate families in the area. You can register and pay online.
