Music at the Mansion, an exciting new collaboration between Lounsbury House and the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra (RSO), premieres on Saturday, January 28th with a performance by the Elyrica Trio.
This exceptional trio of musicians, featuring violinist Deborah Wong, cellist Robert La Rue, and RSO principal harpist Wendy Kerner, have worked together for many years performing and recording as part of The Fontenay Chamber Players septet. They are delighted to share a program exploring various combinations of their three beautiful instruments.
Music at the Mansion is an arts and cultural collaboration with the intent of offering chamber music of the highest artistic quality accessibly, while sharing the history and beauty of one of Ridgefield’s most treasured landmarks. Additional performances on the grounds and in the mansion will take place this coming summer on Sundays, July 16th, July 30th, and August 20th.
