Pediatric Development Workshop at Ridgefield Library on Monday for Parents of Children Ages 0-5

The Ridgefield Library welcomes parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5 years to join Pediatric Occupational Therapist Megan Couri, MA, OTR/L and Pediatric Physical Therapist Kari Lombardo, PT for an overview of pediatric physical development on Monday, May 22nd at 7:00 pm.  

Megan and Kari's first program at the Ridgefield Library in April was such a success, we asked them to come back and do an evening session!

Megan and Kari, both Ridgefielders, will discuss the milestones of typical early childhood development, offer practical tips for encouraging growth, and share resources for assessment and early intervention.

Learn about timelines for Gross & Fine Motor development and tips & tricks to help your little ones along.

Megan Couri has been practicing Pediatric Occupational Therapy, (OT) for 23 years in various settings. She has worked in an outpatient pediatric hospital, Birth to Three, Early Intervention, Sensory Integration clinic, Pediatric Developmental Disability Hospital, & school systems. Currently, she has worked in a public school in the special education preschool & grades K-5 for 10 years. Megan has a masters in Motor Control and Motor Learning as well as certifications in Sensory Integration.  More information: pediatricsot.com

Kari Bradley Lombardo, PT is an experienced Physical Therapist who has spent her adult life dedicated to children. Her professional experience as a PT spans across a variety of patient populations and settings. Kari is well versed in performing evaluations, working with a multi-disciplinary team and completing pediatric treatments in a fun & caring way.
