Make Music Day Ridgefield is Wednesday, June 21

The Ridgefield Arts Council Celebrates Make Music Day  

Ridgefield, CT — For the fifth straight year, Ridgefield is joining over 1000 cities worldwide in a global celebration of music inspired by France’s Fête de la Musique on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM. 

Make Music Ridgefield is open to all musicians — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion. Performers and venues can register on the website at  www.makemusicday.org/ridgefield. All Make Music Day day events are free and open to the public. 

A wide variety of musical performances are scheduled including: ACT of CT “Pop Up” Youth Choir, Angry O’Hara’s, Austin Bradford, Daniel Madeson, Dave Goldenberg and George Mallas, Eleven Steps Shy, George Mallas, Imperial Zero, Jessi Rose, Jonah Weinstock, Lucas Neil, Mad Hatter Chorus, Maggie Seligman, Mark Cupkovic, Michael Shofi, Paulina Romano, Ridgefield Suzuki School, Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, Inc., Room de Dark, Roots Oscura, The Goobers, The Peterman Project, The Ramapo Blues Band, The Ridgefield Chorale, Tobey Lieberman, Tyler Silva, Waiting on Mom, Western CT Youth Orchestra, Willow Bradford, aka Nora, & novadust.

Cellar XV Wine Market, D. Colabella Fine Art Gallery, First Congregational Church, Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center, Lounsbury House, RPAC Gallery, Ridgefield Library, Ridgefield Running Company, Ridgefield Supply Company, Steve’s Bagels and Cafe, The West Lane Inn, & Town Hall are just some of the venues that will host various musical performances. 

Make Music Day is part of the “Summer of, Art, Culture, and Music” in Ridgefield - There are many music and art events happening around town - from the CHIRP concerts in Ballard Park to the numerous events at The Ridgefield Playhouse, the Ridgefield Guild of Artist’s Art Walk, RPAC and D. Colabella Fine art gallery openings, restaurants with musical entertainment filling the streets, and so much more! Ridgefield is the place to be all summer long.
