2023 Ridgefield Summer Fest closes Main Street on Saturday, July 29

Enjoy a Fun-Filled Day at Ridgefield’s Summer Fest

Get ready for Saturday, July 29th, when downtown Ridgefield will come alive with the spirit of summer at the 2023 Summer Fest celebration. Join us as Main Street is transformed into a pedestrian village with entertainment, shopping & dining, music & art, and so much more. This free event offers something for everyone and is open to all ages!

Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic (between Prospect and Governor) from 10AM-2PM for a lively street fair featuring local vendors and sidewalk sales from Main Street area retailers. Visit Ballard Park for children's games and unique entertainment with Circus Moves presented by Downtown Ridgefield. From Noon-5PM the Ridgefield Arts Council will celebrate arts and culture in Ballard Park with Music & Art in the Park. Listen to some of our most talented local musicians while enjoying the work of area artists on display! Make time to rally the whole family for Touch-A-Truck at historic Lounsbury House from 10AM-2PM. Kids will get up close and personal with trucks from Carroll Construction, Ridgefield Fire Department, Ridgefield Police Department, and Barts Tree Service – and don’t miss Ridgefield’s beautifully restored antique fire engine courtesy of Gavin Donnelly.

“Summer Fest is sure to be one of Ridgefield’s favorite summer festivals bringing together an amazing variety of shopping & dining, art & music, and entertainment on beautiful historic Main Street and downtown area. The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce is delighted to be working together with Downtown Ridgefield Merchants and the Ridgefield Arts Council to create a family-friendly event with something for everyone," says Suzanne Brennan, President of the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce.
