Hannah Ward, a Lasell University student from Ridgefield, qualified at a regional DECA competition to advance to the International ICDC Conference in Orlando, Florida, this spring.
Ward was one of 12 Lasell students to compete at a DECA qualifying meet against other collegiate teams including Bentley University, Dartmouth College, and Johnson & Wales. The entire Lasell cohort advanced to the ICDC finals in Orlando, where they will compete in areas including fashion merchandising, retail management, travel and hospitality, human resources, sales, and marketing management.
