Ridgefield Professional Firefighters offered congratulations and announced on social media that Ridgefield Firefighter Michael Singer completed his Recruit Training at the Connecticut Fire Academy where he was awarded the “Michael C Riley Hard Charger Award”.
The Department says that this recognition is presented to one recruit that persistently displays a positive attitude throughout the program.
"Firefighter Singer comes from a long line of firefighters in his family including his grandfather, father, and two uncles. Congratulations Mike! We’ll see you tomorrow for your first shift on the A Shift!" the Fire Department says.
