Celebrate Holy Week & Easter w/ Jesse Lee Church

We invite our community to celebrate Holy Week and Easter at Jesse Lee Church.

--April 2 @ 9:30 is the Palm Sunday worship in the Sanctuary.

--April 5 @ 3PM is the Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt for 2-5 year-olds (sign up is closing soon) on the front lawn of Jesse Lee.*

--April 6 @ 11AM is a discussion of the Meaning of Maundy Thursday in the Belynda Brown Chapel.

--April 6 @ 6:30PM is a family-friendly covered dish supper and worship service that explores The Last Supper – what it meant then and what it means to us today.*

--April 6 starting @ 9PM -April 7 @ noon we have a prayer vigil where people sign up for 30 minute blocks of time to pray the way Jesus asked his disciples to while He was in the Garden of Gethsemane on the night of his betrayal.*

--April 7 @ 7PM we have a special Good Friday Worship Service that features an eight-piece orchestra playing the Bach Cantata “Wachet Auf,” and the Jesse Lee Choir singing solos and Chorales in the Sanctuary. The theme of the service centers on waiting for Jesus to return on Easter as we acknowledge the sorrow of Good Friday.

--On Easter Sunday, we have a Sunrise Service @ 6:30AM on the front steps and a 9:30AM service in the Sanctuary.
