Ridgefield Playhouse Installs Donor Wall, Thanks Capital Campaign Supporters for Making Expansion Possible

In June of 2022, Ridgefield Playhouse celebrated the opening of its newly renovated venue, the nonprofit's first major renovation since opening its doors in 2000. 

On Sunday afternoon, May 21, Playhouse Managing Directors Ashley Paltauf and Jared Shahid honored the lead donors who helped make the much-needed expansion a reality.

The donors celebrated alongside Playhouse staff, members of the board of directors, and even 15 Grammy Winner, Ricky Skaggs, who took a break from his sound check to say hello.  The lead donors were honored with plaques displayed throughout the main floor of the Playhouse, and a donor wall has been installed at the main entrance of the venue displaying all the names of the families and individuals who supported the capital campaign.

Additional thanks are due to the additional individuals who generously donated to support the Playhouse’s expansion, and Shahid and Paltauf have separate plans to honor all who donated this summer. In the speeches that were delivered by Shahid, Paltauf, Rudy Marconi, and board president Michael Shinall, all acknowledged the work of Allison Stockel, before she took the stage to deliver remarks and thank the supporters.
