Ridgefield Library's Virtual Roaring 20s Headpiece-Making Class TONIGHT!

The 2021 Virtual Roaring 20s Great Expectations Gala honoring Eileen and Jay Walker is right around the corner ... on May 22nd! We would love for everyone to dress up for the virtual occasion! (But, you won't be seen on-screen, so you don't have to!)

To help with your outfit, the Ridgefield Library is offering you an opportunity to participate in a Roaring 20s headpiece-making virtual class! Materials are included and you will have a choice of color! Registration closes at 1:00 pm today for tonight's class -- so if you are interested, please sign up ASAP! You can make something like this to wear on the night of the gala!

Join us for a Zoom craft -- making a 1920's inspired headpiece. We will meet through Zoom where we will learn how to make this craft together. Please register below. You will be emailed with more information regarding your color choices for the headpiece and materials pick-up time.

Click here to register.

All materials will be provided except for those listed below:

·     Scissors (not provided)

·     Glue, hot glue gun is recommended (not provided)

The 2021 Great Expectations Gala will include a Virtual Roaring 20s Pre-party beginning at 6:30 pm on May 22nd featuring the Ridgefield High School Jazz Trio and photos of our guests in Roaring 20s outfits (if you would like to participate -- guests will not be seen on-screen during the event). Please take a HORIZANTAL photo of yourselves on your phones and email it to: RLGala2021@gmail.com ASAP ... but before May 22nd at 5:00 pm to be included! The sooner you send your photos, the better!

If you have any questions, please email Laureen Bubniak at lmbubniak@ridgefieldlibrary.org.
