Ridgefield Bach to Rock Students Showcase their Talent on June 13

Bach to Rock (B2R), America’s music school for students of all ages, announces that the Student Showcase is scheduled for June 13 from 1:00-4:00 at the Ridgefield Recreational Center. The Student Showcase provides students with the opportunity to give musical performances in one of the area's outside music venues.

The Showcase is open to all current student instrumentalists, singers, and bands. This event provides B2R students the opportunity to hear their peers and gain exposure to new music, which is inspiring and motivating for young musicians.

“Our students are excited to perform for their families and friends,” said Caroline Murray, Director. “Students ages 5 - 18 will perform original compositions as well as classical, jazz, pop and acoustic repertoire.”

The Showcase is divided into three groups to allow for additional social distancing. “We wanted this event to be inclusive and safe for all our families,” Murray said. “After a year of Zoom and small group performances, our students are getting the chance to perform live in a safe environment.”
