Bob Hebert, Republican Endorsed Candidate for the 111th General Assembly District (Ridgefield), has secured the endorsement of the Uniformed Professional Fire Fighters Association of Connecticut.
In a letter to Bob Hebert, Peter S. Carozza, Jr., President of the Uniformed Professional Fire Fighters Association of Connecticut, wrote, “It is an honor to inform you that following the recommendation of our Legislative Committee, and a vote by our Delegates, the Uniformed Professional Fire Fighters Association of Connecticut heartily endorses your candidacy for the 111th House District. Good luck, and thank you for your support of professional fire fighter issues, including issues of importance to the fire service at large. We are proud of our association with you and look forward to our blossoming partnership and your successful campaign.”
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Uniformed Professional Fire Fighters Association of Connecticut,” said Hebert. “My mission in Hartford will always be to advocate for the safety and security of our emergency services first responders. Connecticut and Ridgefield firefighters risk their lives to perform an invaluable service for our communities. Legislation should always reflect the respect and gratitude we have for firefighters.”
The Uniformed Professional Fire Fighters Association of Connecticut’s mission is to raise the standards of those gainfully employed in the act of protection, prevention or extinguishment of fire, delivery of emergency medical services, or response to hazardous materials incidents. In addition, the Association endeavors to organize all unorganized fire departments in Connecticut, is a clearinghouse for all statewide legislation introduced by all subordinate locals, and provides affiliated locals with advice and service whenever it is deemed necessary.
