Jeff Benedict in Conversation with First Selectman Rudy Marconi TONIGHT at Ridgefield Library

For the publication of the paperback edition of DYNASTY, Jeff Benedict's definitive inside story of the New England Patriots, the Ridgefield Library and Books on the Common are pleased to host Jeff in conversation with his friend, First Selectman Rudy Marconi.

This event will take place IN PERSON at the Library on Thursday, September 23 at 7 PM.  Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.

It's easy to forget that the New England Patriots were once the laughingstock of the NFL, a nearly bankrupt team that had never won a championship.  Everything changed in 1994, when Robert Kraft acquired the franchise and soon brought on board head coach Bill Belichick and Quarterback Tom Brady. Since then, the Patriots have become a juggernaut, making ten trips to the Superbowl, winning six of them, and becoming one of the most valuable sports franchises in the world.  In Dynasty, Jeff provides a sweeping account of the two decades of the Patriots dominance based on exclusive interviews with more than 200 insiders.

Jeff Benedict is a journalist and the bestselling author of sixteen nonfiction books.  He has been a special-features writer for Sports Illustrated and the Los Angeles Times, and his essays have appeared in the New York Times.  He lives with his wife and children in Connecticut.

ALL patrons must wear masks that cover nose and mouth at all times while in the Library, regardless of vaccination status, per the Town of Ridgefield. Masks must conform to current CDC recommendations.
