Aaron Crook, RPS COVID-19 Health and Safety Compliance Liaison reported that today we learned that a member of the Veterans Park Elementary School (VPES) community tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the VPES building while potentially infectious to others on Tuesday, October 12. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.
"I conferred with Town of Ridgefield Health Director Ed Briggs and RHS Medical Advisor Dr. James Ahern about this case. Wear a mask, wash your hands, keep your distance, and get vaccinated," said Crook.
