109 Cheese and Wine is having an olive oil and wine tasting event in their Ridgefield store today (Saturday, Sept. 24)
"Come stop by our Ridgefield store for a tasting of some wonderful olives and olive oils from Chile with our friend José Miguel Cuevas," says owner, Todd Brown.

Boasso Dolcetto d’ Alba 2021
Who doesn’t love a great Barolo producer who makes such a wonderful dolcetto. Drinking beautifully now, this medium bodied red from Piedmont delivers notes of cherry, leather and a touch of oak. Almost to easy to drink, this bright red finishes with soft tannins and pairs well with both pastas and meat. A perfect early fall red.
Muga Rosado 2021
A store favorite year after year, this 100% Tempranillo shows bold strawberry and watermelon on the nose and on the pallet. This rosé Rioja has great acidity, dry and crisp with a beautiful and a long finish.

La Mesma Gavi 2021
We love a great Gavi! La Mesma from Piedmont is a bright and refreshing wine that we have loved for a long time. We even poured Gavi at our wedding.
Produced from 100% Cortes grape, it's dry and light with great acidity. Honeydew, citrus and pear notes make this a wonderful choice with many cheeses and also loves a nice cured meat selection.
