I enthusiastically support Aimee Berger-Girvalo for re-election as State Representative. Aimee has been a strong and effective leader in the Connecticut State Legislature.
As a member of Ridgefield’s Inland Wetlands Board, I am especially impressed with her track record of supporting important environmental initiatives, including CT’s goal of reaching zero greenhouse emissions from electricity, expanding financing to develop an emissions vehicle infrastructure, building more solar power and fuel cells, and reinforcing our electric grid against the effects of climate change.
Aimee was a leader in passing Connecticut’s Clean Air Act which sped up the timeline for electrification of the state’s fleet of vehicles, made it easier for renters and condo owners to install electric chargers, and exempted electric charging stations from property tax assessments.
Join me in voting to re-elect Aimee Berger-Girvalo to the State Legislature so that she can continue this critical work for our communities.
