Ridgefield Letter: Lipman and Paradiso Will Restore Civility And Optimism On The BOE

Every resident of Ridgefield depends on our excellent schools, not just parents of current students. Our schools drive our economy, drawing families to town. I'm supporting Wyatt Lipman and Jon Paradiso for Ridgefield's Board of Education because their combination of skills, experience and heart is needed now more than ever.

Wyatt and Jon, both Dads of young children, understand what is needed to keep our schools moving forward, to address pandemic learning loss, mental health needs and curricular excellence our community deserves. Wyatt and Jon believe that the Board is accountable to residents and are committed to the transparency, integrity and civility needed on our BOE. Wyatt is a corporate attorney, expert in complex negotiations. He has a toddler with a second child on the way. He is truly invested in our town and our schools, mindful that education is a journey that must evolve to meet the needs of all learners. Jon Paradiso has two RPS students and is married to a beloved educator at Ridgebury Elementary School.

A finance and operations professional, he will bring a new level of fiscal accountability to ensure that students have a robust future whatever pathway they take. Having the right people at the BOE table makes all the difference for our kids. Ridgefield deserves advocates who are laser focused on our children, approaching their jobs with optimism and positivity. Wyatt and Jon have the integrity, passion and background needed to keep our schools excellent and our children protected and nurtured.

Join me in voting Row A for Wyatt Lipman and Jon Paradiso on November 7th.
