Clowns from Ringling Bros.and Barnum & Bailey Challenge You to Find the Dragon Egg!

Clowns from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® presents DRAGONS need Southern Connecticut's help to find the Dragon who laid a Dragon Egg from October 3 through October 5

Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey presents DRAGONS is coming to Bridgeport for shows playing Oct. 23 – 27.

People seeing Dragon Seeker and the egg will be encouraged to take pictures and post or send them using social media. We hope to have many Dragon Seeker helpers in Southern Connecticut over the next few days. During the performances later in October at Webster Bank Arena, the audience will all be encouraged to demonstrate that they each have STRENGTH, WISDOM, COURAGE and HEART, and then the Dragon will appear!

 

Some special performers will be here from Thurs, Oct. 3 through Sat. Oct. 5. The Dragon Seeker, Sir Arthur Adventure and a Ringling Bros.® clown, Rob Lok will present the following appearances:

  • Thurs. Oct. 3from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. – Norwalk Public Library, Story Time, 1 Beldin Ave., 2nd Floor Auditorium. The reading will begin at 10:30a.m.
  • Thurs. Oct. 3 from 1 to 2 p.m. – McLevy Green in Bridgeport during the weekly Farmers Market where Sir Arthur Adventure and Rob will visit and interact with the vendors and shoppers.
  • Thurs. Oct. 3 from 4 to 5 p.m. – Cardinal Shehan Center, 1494 Main Street in Bridgeport
  • The DRAGON Seeker, Sir Arthur Adventure and Rob will be present for a fun and educational program about the mystery of the egg and the attributes - which will help the children to find the Dragon Spirit within them.
  • Fri. Oct. 4 from 10 - 11 a.m. – Saugatuck Nursery School, 55 Compo Road South, Westport, CT
  • Fri. Oct. 4 from 1 - 2 p.m. – Yale New Haven Children's Hospital, Bridgeport Campus (formerly Bridgeport Hospital), 267 Grant Street. Ringling Bros.® clowns will visit and perform for sick children and their families.
  • Fri. Oct. 4 from 3 - 4 p.m. – Southend YMCA, 650 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. Ringling Bros.® clowns will present a CircusFit® demonstration for pre-school and after school children.
  • Sat., Oct. 5 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. – Stepping Stones Museum, 303 West Ave., Norwalk
  • Sat., Oct. 5 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. – The Dagon Seeker and Dragon Egg will make an appearance and interact with families attending the Irish Festival 6 Lake Avenue, Danbury*.
  • Sat., Oct. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. - The Dragon Seeker, Sir Arthur Adventure and Dragon Egg will be at the Opening Game of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport. Ticket required for entry to the game.

Tickets start at $25 for select performances. For the evening performances on Weds. Thurs., Fri., and Sat. at 7 p.m. and for the Sun. 5 p.m show, tickets are $25, $50 (VIP), $75 (Front Row) and $100 (Circus Celebrity which includes a one-of-a-kind experience). For the daytime performances on Sat. at 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. and Sun. at 1 p.m. the ticket price are $29, $55 (VIP), $79 (Front Row) and $120 (Circus Celebrity). *Please note: The clowns are presenting a FREE show on Sat. Oct. 5 at 2:30pm at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center, 6 Lake Ave, Danbruy. After the show Bethel's Gilleoghan Irish Dancers will perform traditional dances followed by Irish bands, food and much more.
