Let the fun begin... The 17th Annual Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department (RVFD) Carnival begins TONIGHT, Wednesday, June 25, at East Ridge Middle School, and runs for four days. On June 25, 26, & 27, the carnival will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturday, June 28, the carnival opens early at 5 p.m. Bracelets for the rides will be sold every night.
And after a long hiatus, a fireworks show will be part of the RVFD Carnival on Friday, June 27, at the carnival grounds. Fireworks should start around 9:30 p.m. The rain date is Saturday, June 28.
Along with the fireworks this year, there will be other updates, such an expanded food and beverage offerings, a "kiddie corner" with face painting and games geared towards kids under 7, and a dunk tank.
