The Gambler has a winning hand at The Ridgefield Playhouse

You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done

Ridgefield had a seat at the Gambler's table last night. And it was hard to walk away when the dealin' was done.

Following a grand Gala featuring an open bar, an array of local food options, and robust silent auction, hundreds of guests were whisked from the country charm of Yanity Gym to The Ridgefield Playhouse.

Allison Stockel congratulated the evening's Arts Volunteer Award winner, Daniel Levine and the evening's honoree, Fairfield County Bank. A lively live auction followed that promised trips, sporting events, parties, and more.

And then, it was time for The Gambler.

This was it. The moment all had yearned for. One last hand before the dealin's done. Rogers played a memorable, winning hand.

Celebrating his musical legacy spanning nearly six decades, Kenny Rogers, along with his special guest Linda Davis, pulled at the heartstrings of all present with "We've Got Tonight", "Lady", and "She Believes In Me".

Heartfelt and personal stories, vintage photos, and iconic video clips accompanied Rogers’ renowned songs, captivating the soldout Playhouse and leaving the audience wishing they could play one more hand.

Thank you to The Ridgefield Playhouse, Allison Stockel, the sponsors, Gala committee and all who helped make last night one we will always cherish.
