Where the Wild Things Run 5K at Woodcock Nature Center on October 15

Woodcock Nature Center's annual Where the Wild Things Run 5K trail race and kids fun run is Sunday, October 15th. The course, which is  90% trails, is a mix of groomed trails, rugged trails and narrow bridges/boardwalks. The challenging terrain takes runners and walkers through the diversity and beauty of the Woodcock property. Runners, joggers and walkers of all ages are welcome (though the trail is NOT stroller friendly). 

New this year, Woodcock has made some changes to their Kids Fun Run course. There will be a short .2 mile course for 3 to 5 years old and an extended .37 mile course for 6 to 13 years old. Parents are welcome to accompany their children.

 
Registration is open nmow. For more details and to register in advance, visit www.woodcocknaturecenter.org. Race day registration also available beginning at 7:30am day of. All proceeds go to support Woodcock's education programs.
