Master Class & Audition Workshop for Students on Friday, November 17 - 5:00-7:00 PM inside the Music room at The First Congregational Church (103 Main Street, Ridgefield).
Maestro Eric Mahl, conductor of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra’s December concert and Music Director candidate, will conduct a brass instrument master class and audition workshop for middle and high school students. The focus will be the repertoire for Western Regional and All-State auditions. Several students will be invited to perform, but all attending will gain insight into performance of the pieces and tips for a stronger audition. The program will also include a mock audition with adjudicator comments and audience feedback and participation.
The program, co-sponsored by the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra and Sharps & Flat Music Conservatory, is FREE of charge to all students. Registration is requested by calling Sharps & Flats at (203) 438-3300.
