Sheryl Bailey back to the Jazz Masters Series, this time leading a trio featuring organist Ron Oswanski and drummer Ian Froman.  The trio recalls other great guitar/organ pairings, including those of Wes Montgomery/Jimmy Smith, George Benson/Dr. Lonnie Smith, and Grant Green/Larry Young.  An outstanding guitarist, Bailey is a gifted interpreter of jazz standards and an accomplished composer who creates settings that showcase great ensemble playing and provide a solid platform for transporting improvisations.
