SNL Star Sasheer Zamata Leads the Upright Citizens Brigade Through A Night of Comedy Improv at The Ridgefield Playhouse on May 4

The Upright Citizens Brigade is the improvisational comedy troupe that launched the careers of some of the best known, cutting edge comics around today – Amy Poehler, Horatio Sanz, Kate McKinnon, Aubrey Plaza, Donald Glover, Ed Helms, Nick Kroll -- the list goes on and on! Drawing on audience suggestions, three of UCB Theatre’s current main-stage performers are teamed up with UCB alumna, Saturday Night Live’s Sasheer Zamata, to perform a high-energy, surprising and hysterical show that has never been seen before and will never be seen again. Sasheer Zamata, currently starring in the movie I Feel Pretty, is a comedian, actress, writer and was a four-season cast member on “Saturday Night Live.”She has also appeared on “Transparent” and “Inside Amy Schumer.” Zamata has been listed in Cosmopolitan's 13 Funny Women to Watch, Time Out New York's Top 10 Funniest Women in NYC, Brooklyn Magazine's 50 Funniest People in Brooklyn. She recently released her first one-hour special, “Pizza Mind” to rave reviews.She can be seen on the big screen in Yoga Hosers, Sleight, The Outdoorsman, and Deidre and Laney Rob a Train. She also serves as ACLU's Celebrity Ambassador for Women's Rights.
