Three nights of carnival fun and games in Ridgefield
For Ridgefield kids, kickstarting summer is synonymous with attending the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department's (RVFD) annual Carnival, a major fundraiser for the Fire Department. The Firemen's Carnival will take place on the grounds of Club 24, 901 Ethan Allen Highway (Route 7) on June 28, June 29, and June 30.
The games, rides, and "amusements" will be set up in the south parking lot.
There will not be fireworks this year.
For several years, the carnival, courtesy of Tufano Amusements, took place on the grounds of East Ridge Middle School. Due to the many weather-related school closings, the school year has been extended and ERMS parking lot is no longer available for use.
We are happy the carnival will take place in 2018 and hope that kids and adults head to Club 24 and support our fire department!
