Ridgefield Summerfest on Saturday: Yoga, Live Music, Farm Stands, Touch-a-Truck and More!

The Chamber presents SummerFest 2018 on July 21 in downtown Ridgefield!

SummerFest is a celebration of old fashion fun! Shops all around Ridgefield will celebrate with sidewalk sales while Main Street will be closed to traffic from Prospect Street to Governor Street (Bailey Avenue is closed to traffic too) to host Kids Zone, Farm Stands, Music and over 50 Vendors. New this year is a touch-a-truck area where kids can explore a variety of vehicles.

The day begins with Yoga in Ballard Park from 8:30 - 10 am with Lyn Kehoe Power Yoga. Then SummerFest starts at 10 am with vendors, sidewalk sales, farm stands, kids activities and touch-a-truck until 4 pm on Main Street and Bailey Avenue in Downtown Ridgefield.

Be sure to stop by the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum for their Third Saturday program featuring free admittance to the museum and a family-friendly art making workshop "Print Making in the Sun." Or, pop into the children's area of the Ridgefield Library for their morning programs. End the day with a 4 pm matinee of Thrown Stone Theatre Company's "The Arsonists" or an 8 pm performance of Thrown Stone Theatre Company's "Where All Good Rabbits Go."  Or take in the Don McLean concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse at 8 pm. Then cap off the night with Townvibe's "Cocktails with the Cast" at 10 pm at The Village Tavern.
