ACT of Connecticut Announces Summer Festival

ACT of Connecticut is launching an exciting opportunity to watch new musicals - as they develop!

"Broadway musicals don’t just magically appear on Broadway! There are readings, workshops and labs - all part of the development process. At ACT of CT, we want the next generation of TONY Award winners to begin their process on our stage," ACT explains.

Enter ACT's New Works Series Festival Weekend!

This is a wonderful chance to be the first audience to lay eyes (and ears) on two new musicals: Victory Train and Austen's Pride. "This will be a “reading” (which means actors seated on chairs, at music stands, scripts in hand - bare bones)….so that the authors, composers, and audience (you!!) can hear the brand new show for the first time," says ACT.
