The Dickey Betts Band returns to headline the sold-out BBQ, Bourbon & Beer Summer Gala that benefits The Ridgefield Playhouse, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit performing arts center, on Friday, July 20. The Gala begins at 6pm with the show and live auction at 8pm.
This performance is part of a special limited-run tour by Betts, founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, and is part of the Pepsi Rock Series powered by Xfinity. The Playhouse would like to thank all of the generous sponsors that help make the Summer Gala possible. Soulshine Sponsors include Ann & Steve Carlson, Catoonah Street Shopping District, Peggy & Robert Kaufman and Northeast Builders of Ridgefield. Ramblin’ Man Sponsors include Barts Tree Service, The Berisford and Ross Families, Design Builders & Remodelers, Shari Goodstein, Rachel & Joe Sondheimer and Interactive Ingenuity, LLC. Additional support provided by Abbey Tent and Party Rentals, Hollandia Nursery and Pepsi.
Betts, a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, will play a full set of Allman Brothers classics: “Midnight Rider,” “Blue Sky,” “Melissa,” “Whipping Post” and so many more.
